About us

We are Alice and Freya, young artists based in Newcastle who create to capture the beauty in living things and the vibrancy of passing moments. We both primarily work in oils, but love to paint with watercolour. With pockets full of passion and dreaming, we began the endeavor to bring art from our homes, to yours. As well as providing paintings, the Arty Nest hopes to embroider Alice's background in animation and illustration with Freya’s roots in pottery and sculpting in unique, hand painted ceramics.
